Throw & Co. No. 76

Throw & Co. is based in Seattle, WA and produces limited edition, woven throw blankets, all individually artist designed. I was invited to develop a one-of-a-kind limited edition woven throw blanket design. For this design I chose to stick to black and white so that the throw could suit a variety of home decorating styles without clashing with other colors in a room. Utilizing one of my preferred style of clean monoline forms I leaned into a personal love - a composition of my favorite flower - peonies. After a successful first run, the design was extended to stay in the store for continued production, as it became a fan favorite for the brand.
